3 REASONS WE LOVE OUTDOOR FABRICS
It’s that time of year, the time where we pull out the trusty outdoor furniture. And just like that, you don’t have to
think about it again until it’s time to put it away.
Well, you should think about it but you don’t have to worry about the wear and tear as much. You can enjoy it more
than anything, which makes everything so much better for the summer months.
We tend to only think about outdoor fabric in the, well, outdoor spaces but it can be used for so much more.
There are 3 big reasons why we love outdoor fabrics and think they should be used more than just seasonally.
Fade-Resistant: No fade, no problem. Have you ever wondered how your patio set can sit in the sun all season
long and not lose its’ color? That’s because of the way the fabric is made. In traditional fabrics, the fibers are dyed
just on the outside, whereas with outdoor fabrics it’s dyed all the way through. This makes the lifespan so much
longer. Think of how nice fade-proof curtains would be on all your windows.

Durability: Ready for anything. Do you ever find yourself in a losing battle between you and your furniture?
Yeah, we know you deal with it on the daily. It’s an added stressor to your daily life and your time is so much
more valuable than worrying about the pieces you use every day. That’s why the durability of outdoor fabrics
should be used indoors just as often, if not more. Switch your upholstered furniture and pillows to a performance
fabric will allow you more time spent with your family and enjoying your home. Bonus: Do you have pets?
How amazing would a pet bed with outdoor fabrics be? So much easier to clean and maintain.

Mold, Mildew and Water Resistant: Cleaning is a breeze. We get it, life happens. When was the last time
you spilled something on your sofa or favorite chair? Everyday? Sounds about right. You try and take care of it to the
best of your ability but once it soaks in, who knows what happens. Outdoor fabrics are meant to withstand the elements
which mean mold and mildew. This means the fabrics make excellent bathroom shades where there is a lot of
moisture, as well as in humid climates. These fabrics are meant to repel liquid so hello spill-proof! Talk about
easy clean-ups from the kiddos, pets, and let’s be honest yourself.

Take the stress out of your everyday spacing by incorporating more outdoor fabrics. Not ready to swap everything out?
No problem! Start small with some outdoor accent pillows and rugs in high traffic areas.
